1973 Napa Valley Zinfandel

A new and complex style of Zinfandel, made with finesse to combine the spice and fruit of the grape with the mellowing tones of oak. Aged in Nevers oak, kept from malolactic fermentation, it retains the true character of the Zinfandel grapes as well as the brilliant garnet color. Its bold fruitiness and moderate tannin will greatly benefit by further aging. Its youth is enjoyable now; time will make it a classic.
